Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most ancient Hindu temple in Nepal. It is also famous hindu temple in Nepal. Pashupati temple doesn’t need any introduction for those people following the Hindu religion. It is the most believed and significant temple for Hindu people.

Mostly people come here to worship lord Shiva from different part of the world. It is also famous for monkey but it had been matured with local people living there. It lies in the river bank of Bagmati River. Only Hindu people can enter the temple premises while other are not allowed to enter the temple and can only can observe from other banks of bagmati temple. It is also listed in UNESCO world heritage site.

It just located 5 km north from Kathmandu valley. It is design in pagoda style. In past, the roof of pashupati was made up of gold but slowly it has been stolen by people. In present, only the top part (gajur) is the remaining gold. It is mostly populated on shiva ratri the most big culture for Nepalese people.
